Gluten-free and dairy-free crepes

Can't have gluten or dairy? No problem! There are plenty of gluten-free flours (rice, buckwheat, corn) and plant-based milks (almond, soy, oat) available to make delicious crepes. Add a little baking powder for a light and airy texture.

The origins of Chandeleur

Celebrated every year on February 2nd, Chandeleur is a tradition steeped in history. Its origins can be traced back to ancient Rome, where the Lupercalia, festivals in honor of the god Lupercus, protector of flocks, were celebrated. With the advent of Christianity, this pagan festival evolved into the Feast of the Purification of the Virgin Mary, commemorating the presentation of Jesus at the Temple of Jerusalem. It was on this occasion that candles were blessed, hence the name "Chandeleur".
