Why choose an Initial griddle?

Initial griddles combine maximum performance and practicality in a compact appliance that fits into even the smallest spaces. With Initial, you no longer need a large outdoor area or a large kitchen counter to cook on a griddle.

Thanks to its compact size, the Initial griddle can be placed at the end of a table or on a griddle cart.

All griddles in the Initial collection are made from 100% outdoor materials, designed to withstand the elements for years to come:

• The chassis
  • stainless steel exterior: also known as 441 stainless steel, specially designed to withstand very humid or salty environments, such as the seaside. This stainless steel is designed to provide long-lasting corrosion resistance thanks to its nickel and chromium alloy. It is ideal for intensive outdoor and indoor use throughout the year.
• The plate : made of enameled cast iron with a lifetime guarantee (for griddles manufactured from 2017 onwards):
  • natural non-stick coating.
  • excellent heat conductor capable of distributing heat evenly across the plate, ensuring consistent cooking results for everything from fish to vegetables.
  • corrosion-resistant plate.
  • easy to clean, non-stick surface for healthy, fat-free cooking.

Each Initial griddle has four height-adjustable legs for optimal comfort of use. The juice collection tray allows you to easily remove fat and juices for healthy cooking.

Which Initial griddle should you choose?

The gas model

Initial gas griddles are available in several options:

• size 50 (two burners): perfect for 4 to 6 people, it has a power output of 5 kW and two independent cooking zones.
• size 65 (three burners): designed for 6 to 8 people, it has a power output of 5 kW and three independent cooking zones.

The dual-ramp burners ensure rapid and even heating of the plate, for perfect searing of all your food. The piezo ignition is easy to use.

For optimal safety and to ensure safe use of the appliance, a gas safety device is built into the burners.

All Initial gas griddles are compatible with propane or butane.

The electric model

Suitable for indoor AND outdoor use, Initial electric griddles reach 360°C in just a few minutes and are available in several options:

• size 50 (1 zone): suitable for 4 to 6 people, this griddle has a power rating of 2.2 kW.
• size 65 (2 zones): suitable for 6 to 8 people, it has a power rating of 3 kW.

Each Initial electric griddle is equipped with an LED display screen allowing you to precisely adjust the temperature from 40 to 360°C, for accurate cooking of meat, vegetables, or fish.

Initial electric griddles must be plugged into a 16A electrical outlet.

The trolley model

Initial griddles on trolley are designed for anyone looking for a mobile, versatile, and practical outdoor cooking appliance. Each Initial trolley is equipped with:

• 1 built-in Initial 50 or 65 griddle.
• 2 removable black shelves (adjustable to 3 positions) with a tray function, allowing you to move from cooking to serving in the blink of an eye.
• 2 all-terrain wheels.
• 1 low interior shelf.
• 1 black curtain.
