Potatoes with grilled octopus

Ingredients
- 200 g cooked octopus
- 500 g small new potatoes
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 4 sprigs parsley
- 4 sprigs basil, leaves removed
- ¼ bird's eye chilli
- salt and pepper
Preparation
1. Cook the potatoes in a pan of boiling salted water until just cooked through.
2. Heat the griddle over a high heat.
3. Finely chop the parsley and chilli. Halve the garlic cloves and cut into chunks.
4. Drain the potatoes and cut them in half or thirds, depending on their size.
5. Place the potatoes and garlic in a bowl. Pour in the oil and mix.
6. Place them on the griddle and brown on all sides.
7. Add the octopus and mix. Leave on the griddle just long enough for the octopus to heat up.
8. Add the chilli and parsley. Sprinkle with lemon juice, season with salt and pepper and mix one last time.
9. Serve immediately, sprinkling with the basil leaves.
