Caramelized Apples with Popcorn

Serves 4

Cook time: 5 minutes

 

Ingredients

  • 4 apples, cored and sliced 1 cm thick
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 pinches ground cinnamon
  • 4 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 small bowl of caramel popcorn

 

Instructions

  1. Mix the sugars and cinnamon and coat both sides of the apple slices.
  2. Heat the plancha to high heat. Cook the apple slices for 1-2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
  3. Arrange on plates, drizzle with maple syrup, and top with popcorn.
